Beef Yakitori

Ingredients
  Soy sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Sesame seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Green onions 2 Small, finely chopped
  Beef sirloin 1 Pound, thinly sliced
Directions

In a 9" x 5" loaf pan, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, garlic, ginger, oil, sesame seeds and onions.
Thread meat on eighteen to twenty 6-inch bamboo skewers by pushing a skewer in and out of each meat slice as though sewing.
Place skewered meat in marinade, turning to coat all sides.
Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours; drain.
Arrange marinated skewered meat on broiler pan or ungreased baking sheet with raised sides.
Preheat broiler if necessary.
Place oven rack 5 to 8 inches from heating element.
Broil meat 1-1/2 to 2 minutes; turn and broil about 1 minute longer.
