Barbecued Short Ribs
|Beef plate short ribs||3 Pound, cut in serving-size pieces|
|Soy sauce||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Instant beef bouillon granules||1 Teaspoon|
|Sesame oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Sesame seed||1 Teaspoon, toasted|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Trim excess fat from short ribs.
In large Dutch oven mix 1/2 cup soy sauce, onions, garlic, beef bouillon granules, and 1/2 cup water.
Add rib pieces.
Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours or till tender.
Mix remaining soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, vinegar, sesame seed, dry mustard, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
Place ribs over slow coals.
Grill 20 to 30 minutes; turn and brush frequently with the soy sauce-sesame mixture.
