Classic Beef Broth

Ingredients
  Meaty beef bones 3 Pound
  Carrots 3 Large, pared and chopped
  Onions 2 Large, halved
  Leek 1 , trimmed
  Celery stalks with leaves 2 , chopped
  Water 10 Cup (160 tbs)
  Parsley 1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Handful)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), peeled
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Bay leaf 1
Directions

1 Put the meat bones, carrots, onions, leek and celery into a roasting pan.
2 Roast in hot oven (450°) 40 minutes, or until bones are well browned.
3 Place browned bones and vegetables in a 5-quart electric slow cooker; add water, parsley, garlic, salt along with all other ingredients.
Cook until vegetables are tender, Strain through a fine sieve.
