|Herb seasoned ready mix bread stuffing||8 Ounce|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Onion||2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Beef||2 Pound, ground|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Seasoned salt||2 Teaspoon|
1. Prepare stuffing mix with butter or margarine and water, following label directions; stir in grated onion.
2. Blend ground beef with egg, celery and seasoned salt in a large bowl.
3. Press one third of the meat mixture lengthwise into a loaf pan, 9x5x3, to cover half of bottom; press one third of the stuffing mixture in a strip alongside meat. Make two more layers of each, alternating strips of meat and stuffing each time; cover.
4. Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 45 minutes; uncover. Bake 30 minutes long or until browned. Turn out; let stand for 15 minutes for easier slicing.
