|Onion soup mix||2 1⁄4 (1 Envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Ketchup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic powder with parsley||1 Teaspoon (Lawry's)|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 325 F.
In 13x9-inch baking or roasting pan, add onion soup mix blended with water, ketchup, garlic powder and pepper.
Add brisket, turning to coat with soup mixture.
Loosely cover with aluminum foil and roast 3 hours or until brisket is tender.
Thicken gravy, if desired.
