Stir Fried Beef And Spinach

Ingredients
  Boneless round beef steak 1 1⁄4 Pound, trimmed of fat
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Five spice powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cold water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Instant beef bouillon granules 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Grated ginger root 1 Teaspoon
  Small spinach leaves 8 Ounce (Fresh)
  Sliced water chestnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Partially freeze beef; slice thinly into bite-size strips, Combine beef, soy sauce, and Five Spice Powder; let stand at room temperature 15 minutes.
In small bowl blend 1/4 cup cold water into cornstarch; add bouillon granules and set aside.
Preheat wok or large skillet over high heat; add oil.
Stir-fry gingerroot in hot oil 30 seconds.
Add half the beef to hot wok; stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or till browned.
Remove beef.
Stir-fry remaining beef 2 to 3 minutes.
Return all beef to wok.
Stir cornstarch mixture; stir into beef.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Stir in spinach and water chestnuts; cook, covered, 1 to 2 minutes.
