Rolled Ribs Of Beef
|Beef rolled rib roast||5 Pound|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), cut in slivers|
|Seasoned salt||To Taste|
Place an inverted saucer in the bottom of a baking dish or use a Microwave roasting .
rack in a glass 2-quart dish.
Poke holes in meat with a sharp knife and insert a thin sliver of garlic in each slit.
Sprinkle roast with seasoned salt.
Place roast fat side down on saucer.
Cook, uncovered, on high, for about 2 1/2 minutes per pound for rare, 3 1/4 minutes for medium.
Remove roast, insert a thermometer halfway into meat, check for doneness.
If reading is correct (120° rare, 140° medium or 160° well done), cover roast tightly and let stand about 15 minutes before serving.
