Spicy Beef And Asparagus

Ingredients
  Beef top round steak 1 Pound, trimmed of fat
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Dry sherry 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce 4 Dash (Several Dashes)
  Beef broth 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Catsup 1 Tablespoon
  Red wine vinegar 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Fresh asparagus/One package of 10-ounce frozen cut asparagus, thawed 3⁄4 Pound, cut into 1-inch lengths
  Sliced cauliflower 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sweet peppers 1 Small, cut into narrow strips (Red Or Green)
  Onion 1 Small, cut into thin wedges
Directions

Partially freeze beef; thinly slice the meat across grain into strips.
Combine cornstarch, water, sherry, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce.
Add meat, mixing well.
Combine beef broth, soy sauce, catsup, vinegar, and sugar; set aside, Preheat wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add 1 tablespoon of the oil.
Stir-fry garlic in hot oil for 30 seconds.
Add half the meat.
Stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or till just browned, Remove from skillet.
Stir-fry remaining meat 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove meat from skillet.
Add remaining oil if necessary Add asparagus and cauliflower; stir-fry for 4 minutes, [If using frozen asparagus that you've thawed, add it 2 minutes after the cauIiflower is added.)
Add the red or green pepper and onion; stir-fry about 2 minutes more or till asparagus is crisp-tender.
Return meat to skillet.
Stir in soy sauce mixture.
Cook and stirtill bubbly.
Cover and cook l minute more,
