Easy Beef And Biscuits
|Frozen french cut green beans||9 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Chopped cooked beef||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Beef broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|All purpose flour||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
In 2-quart casserole, place beans and onion; cover.
Microwave at high (10) 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
Stir in beef and broth.
Combine water and cornstarch; add to meat mixture Cover and Microwave at high (10) 4 minutes; add mushrooms.
Microwave at high (10) 4 to 7 minutes until hot and bubbly, stirring after 3 minutes.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut shortening into flour mixture with pastry blender until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Stir in milk until soft dough forms.
Drop dough by 12 tablespoonfuls around edge of dish.
Sprinkle biscuits with parsley and paprika.
Microwave, uncovered, at high (10) 4 to 7 minutes until biscuits appear done.
Rotate dish 1/2 turn after 3 minutes.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let stand 5 minutes.
