Skewered Beef With Sesame Marinade
|Soy sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Red vinegar||2 Teaspoon|
|Chinese sesame oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Lightly toasted sesame seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry white wine/Sake||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flank steak||1 1⁄4 Pound|
|Green onion pieces||12 (2 Inch)|
Cut meat against the grain into thin slices about 2 1/2 by.1/2 inch.
Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and pour marinade into a large resealable plastic bag.
Add meat strips to marinade.
Seal the bag securely and turn 2 or 3 times to coat the meat.
Refrigerate and marinate for 2 hours, turning bag occasionally.
Drain and discard marinade.
Thread meat onto skewers, using in-and-out technique.
Put a green onion on the end of each skewer.
Preheat stovetop grill.
Grill kabobs over medium-high heat until meat is cooked to taste, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Turn occasionally during grilling.
Remove kabobs to a serving dish.
