Corned Beef N Cabbage Dinner
|Corned beef brisket||3 Pound|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Onions||2 Medium, quartered|
|Carrots||3 , sliced|
|Potatoes||3 , quartered|
|Cabbage||1 , cut into wedges|
1. Place corned beef brisket in 3-quart glass casserole; add water, and sprinkle with seasonings included with meat. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 10 to 12 minutes or until boiling. Turn meat over.
3. Microwave on SIMMER for about 1 1/2 hours or until fork tender. Turn meat over; add remaining ingredients; recover.
4. Microwave on SIMMER for 30 to 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
