Italian Beef In Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
  Boneless chuck 1
  Sliced onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic clove 1 Large, minced
  Oregano 2 Teaspoon, crushed
  Condensed tomato soup 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pepper To Taste (Generous Dash)
Directions

Trim fat from meat; place in roasting pan.
Bake at 350°F. for 1 hour.
Spoon off fat.
Combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat.
Cover; bake 2 hours more or until tender.
Thicken sauce if desired.
