  Short ribs of beef 2 Pound
  Fat 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs) (canned)
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
Directions

Brown beef in hot fat in sauce pan.
Add salt, pepper, and vegetables and mix well.
Then cover sauce pan and simmer 1 hour or until tender.
Thicken juices as desired.
