Beef La Jolla

Ingredients
  Beef chuck 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut in 2-inch cubes
  Burgundy wine/Chianti 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Condensed consomme 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 1/2 Can)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Fine dry bread crumbs 6 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 6 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine beef with wine, consomme, salt, pepper, and onion in 2-quart casserole.
Mix crumbs and flour and stir into beef mixture.
Cover and bake in a 300° F.oven for about 3 hours or until beef is tender.
