Corned Beef And Cabbage
|Corned beef||4 Pound|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Pickling spice||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Onion||1 , chopped|
Place corned beef in the crock cooker.
Mix together the water and all ingredients except cabbage.
Pour mixture over meat.
Cover and cook at Low for 10 to 12 hours.
Remove corned beef and keep it warm.
Strain juice, and return it to the cooker along with the cabbage which has been cut in wedges.
Cover and cook on High for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the cabbage is done.
