Ingredients
  Egg 1
  Liquid smoke 1 Teaspoon
  Ice water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Caraway seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Celery flakes 1 1⁄2 Large
  Ground ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry lemon peel 1 Teaspoon, ground
  Ground mace 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Onion flakes 1 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 4 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Dash
  Ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Wheat germ 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Add egg, liquid smoke and water to large bowl.
Crush caraway seeds and celery flakes in a mortar with pestle.
Blend seasonings into the liquid.
Add beef, pork and wheat gerrri.
Mix sausage the old-fashioned way.
