Ingredients
  Rice wine/Dry sherry 1 Teaspoon
  Minced ginger root 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Sesame oil 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), sliced
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 1 Teaspoon
  Fresh cut corn/Thawed frozen cut corn 1⁄2 Pound
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine marinade ingredients in a medium bowl.
Add ground beef; mix well.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok over high heat 30 seconds.
Stir-fry garlic 15 seconds.
Add marinated beef.
Stir-fry about 2 minutes over medium-high heat until browned.
Remove from wok with a slotted spoon, draining well over wok; set aside.
Dissolve cornstarch in water to make a paste.
Heat oil remaining in wok over high heat 30 seconds.
Stir-fry corn 3 minutes.
Add salt and cornstarch paste.
Stir-fry 1 minute.
Return beef to wok and mix well.
Place on a platter.
