Classic Beef Tongue

Ingredients
  Beef tongue 3 Pound
  Water 1 Liter
  Bay leaf 1
  Peppercorns 6
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
Directions

1) Place the beef tongue into a pot with enough boiling water to cover. Add bay leaf, peppercorns, and salt.
2) Cover and cook over a low flame for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Remove, peel off the skin, and return the beef tongue to the still boiling water for 5 minutes, or until heated through
