Beef Steak Stewed With Olives
|Stewing steak||1 1⁄2 Pound (1 In Number)|
|Sweet red pepper/Sweet green pepper||1⁄2 , chopped|
|Tomato juice||1⁄2 Pint|
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Stuffed olives||3 Ounce, sliced|
Cut the steak in small pieces, removing fat.
Fry the meat and onions in the fat or oil until they begin to brown.
Add the olives and sweet pepper and enough tomato juice to moisten.
Cover and cook gently on top of or in the oven until the meat is tender, adding more tomato juice as necessary.
No salt or pepper is needed, but garlic may be added to taste.
