Bone In Rib Roast
|Loin/Wing roast with bone||6 Pound (3 Kilogram)|
|Paprika||2 Teaspoon (10 Milliliter)|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Soft butter/Margarine||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Onion||1 Medium, cut in four|
€¢ Cream the butter together with the paprika and mustard, Shield the tips of the bones with a 2-inch (5 cm) strip of foil.
€¢ Preheat browning dish 7 minutes at HIGH. Place the roast in the oven without removing the dish from the oven, fat side down. Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes.
€¢ Baste the meat with the butter mixture.
€¢ Place the roast, fat side up, on a microwave rack or inverted saucer set in a baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika. DO NOT SALT.
€¢ Place the onion pieces in the bottom of the dish. Microwave at MEDIUM 8 minutes per pound (500 g). Remove foil after the first 8 minutes, then cook to your taste following the Beef roasting chart.
€¢ When the roast is cooked, place it on a serving dish and let stand 10 minutes, covered, in a warm place.
€¢ Prepare the gravy to your taste, as for Rolled Rib Roast or any sauce of your choice.
