Spicy Beef And Bean Burgers

Ingredients
  Egg white 1 , slightly beaten
  Canned pinto beans 7 1⁄2 Ounce, drained and mashed (Half 15 Ounce Can)
  Soft whole wheat bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped canned jalapeno peppers/1 tablespoon canned diced green chili peppers 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Lean ground beef 1 Pound
  Flour tortillas 4 , halved (8 Inch Each)
  Lettuce leaves 8
  Salsa 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In a large mixing bowl combine egg white, beans, bread crumbs, celery, chili peppers, and garlic powder.
Add ground beef; mix well.
Shape meat mixture into eight 1/2 inch thick oval patties.
Place patties on the unheated rack of a broiler pan.
Broil 4 inches from the heat for 12 to 14 minutes or till meat is no longer pink, turning once.
