Eating On The Cheap

Ingredients
  Stewing beef 3 Pound, cut into cubes
  Chopped parsnip/Chopped carrots 3
  Sliced potatoes 3
  Onion soup mix 1 1⁄4 Ounce
  Pepper To Taste
  Garlic powder To Taste
  Red wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Cheap Type)
Directions

Preheat oven to 325°.
Place the meat and chopped vegetables, mixed with the dry onion soup, on a very large sheet of heavy duty foil.
Sprinkle with pepper and garlic powder.
Add the wine.
Wrap the mixture in the foil, seal it well but leave a "blowhole" in the top so it won't explode.
Place in oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325-350°.
