Beef Casserole, Chinese Style
|Canned condensed mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Crushed potato chips||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Finely sliced celery||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Raw)|
|Half and half||2 Tablespoon (Light Cream)|
Cook ground beef in a frying pan until brown and crumbly, adding some fat if necessary; turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Arrange thawed peas over browned meat, then cover with the sliced celery.
Mix together the mushroom soup, cream, salt, pepper, and onion; pour over celery.
Sprinkle potato chips over the top of the casserole.
Bake in a 375° oven for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
