Healthy Choice Beef Chili
|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Green bell pepper||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Ground beef||1 Pound (Healthy Choice®)|
|Canned tomatoes in tomato puree||28 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned red kidney beans||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Bay leaf||1 Small|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground cumin||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried oregano leaves||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat.
Add onion, pepper and garlic; cook and stir until vegetables are tender.
Crumble beef into saucepan; cook about 6 minutes or until no longer pink.
Add remaining ingredients; simmer over low heat 15 to 20 minutes until heated through, stirring occasionally.
