Ingredients
  Corned beef brisket 2 Pound
  Onions 2 Small
  Carrots 4
  Potatoes 2 , halved /quartered
  Turnip 1 , cubed
  Green cabbage 1⁄2 , cut into wedges
  Horseradish sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Place beef in heavy kettle.
Cover with hot water.
Cover tightly and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hr., until tender.
Remove meat and keep warm.
Skim off excess fat and add onions, carrots, potatoes, and turnip.
Cover and cook 15 min.
Add cabbage and cook another 10 min.
