Beef And Tomato Special
|Onion buns||4 , split|
|Margarine/Butter||3 Tablespoon, softened|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Prepared horseradish||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Sliced cooked roast beef||1⁄2 Pound|
Heat large skillet or griddle over medium high heat.
Spread cut sides of buns with margarine.
Place buns, cut side down, in hot skillet.
Cook buns 4 to 5 minutes or until light golden brown.
Meanwhile, in small bowl combine mayonnaise, horseradish and pepper; blend well.
Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons mayonnaise mixture on bottom half of each bun.
Top each with 1/4 of the roast beef, 1 tomato slice, 1 lettuce leaf and top half of bun.
Secure with large wooden pick, if necessary.
