Casserole Of Oxtail

Ingredients
  Streaky bacon 100 Gram, chopped
  Onion 1 Large, finely sliced
  Cooking oil 30 Milliliter
  Oxtail 900 Gram, jointed
  Flour 50 Gram
  Beef stock 550 Milliliter
  Carrots 225 Gram, thinly sliced
  Bouquet garni 1
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Fry the bacon and onion in the oil.
Dip the oxtail in the flour and fry until browned.
Stir in remaining flour.
Add the stock and bring to the boil.
Add the carrots, bouquet garni and salt and pepper to season.
Transfer to Slow cooker.
Cook for the recommended time.
Remove bouquet garni before serving.
