Casserole Of Oxtail
|Streaky bacon||100 Gram, chopped|
|Onion||1 Large, finely sliced|
|Cooking oil||30 Milliliter|
|Oxtail||900 Gram, jointed|
|Beef stock||550 Milliliter|
|Carrots||225 Gram, thinly sliced|
Fry the bacon and onion in the oil.
Dip the oxtail in the flour and fry until browned.
Stir in remaining flour.
Add the stock and bring to the boil.
Add the carrots, bouquet garni and salt and pepper to season.
Transfer to Slow cooker.
Cook for the recommended time.
Remove bouquet garni before serving.
