Savory Beef Mixture
|Tomato puree||4 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Tube)|
|Tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Stock||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Minced beef||2 Pound|
Heat the fat and fry the finely chopped or grated onions then work in the flour and cook for several minutes.
Add the tomato puree, can tomatoes and 1 pint of stock or water flavoured with yeast or meat extract.
Bring to the boil, season Well, then add the minced beef.
Stir well to break up the meat then simmer gently for about 1 hour.
