Beef With Onions
|Lean beef pork||2 Pound, cut in 1.5 inch pieces|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Small white onions||4 Pound|
|Ripe firm tomatoes||4 , quartered|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Wine vinegar||2 Tablespoon|
1. Brown meat on all sides in hot butter and oil in a large heavy saucepot.
2. Add remaining ingredients and then enough water to half cover ingredients in the pot. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
3. Bring to boiling, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, or until meat is tender and liquid is reduced to a flavorful gravy.
