Corned Beef And Cabbage
|Corned beef brisket||3 Pound|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled|
|Onion||1 Medium, quartered|
|Cabbage head||1 Small, cut into wedges|
|Carrots||2 Medium, peeled and cut up|
Place corned beef and water to cover in a deep, 3 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
Add garlic, onion, cloves and bay leaves.
Heat, tightly covered, on full power for 10 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Heat, covered, on simmer for 75 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.
