On this video I show you how I make a simple smoked brisket on the RecTec pellet smoker with 3 levels of flavor. We start with a simple rub, then a killer mop sauce, and top it off with Greg's Ballistic BBQ's unique and flavorful BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
  Beef brisket 7 1⁄2 Pound
For the rub:
  Sea salt 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Light brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sweet paprika 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chili powder 2 Tablespoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 2 Tablespoon
  Onion powder 1 Tablespoon
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
The mop sauce:
  Beer 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Apple cider 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Coffee 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Beef stock 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Hot sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Vegetable oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Bbq sauce:
  Apple cider vinegar 16 Ounce
  Brown sugar 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Kosher salt 2 Tablespoon
  Onion powder 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), chopped
  Celery seed 2 Tablespoon
  Black pepper 1 Tablespoon
  Paprika 1 Tablespoon
  Pork lard 2 Tablespoon
  Ground mustard 2 Tablespoon
  Pickling spice 2 Tablespoon
  Coriander seed 1 Teaspoon
  Crushed red pepper 1 Tablespoon
  Ketchup 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Pound
  Bourbon 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Liquid smoke sauce 2 Pound
