Spiced Green Beans
|Canned green beans||2 Pound|
|Lemon butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried parsley flakes||2 Teaspoon|
Bring drained liquid to boil in saucepan large enough to hold beans horizontally when re-added to liquid.
When liquid comes to boil, reduce heat to simmer.
Add beans; simmer 4 minutes or until heated.
Do not boil.
Drain beans; reserve liquid for soup stock.
Prepare Lemon Butter.
Stir in lemon juice, spices, and parsley flakes.
Arrange beans on serving platter; coat with Lemon Butter.
