Green Beans A La Fromage
|Mushrooms||1 Pound, sliced|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Pound, grated|
|French style green beans||30 Ounce (3 Packages, 10 Ounce Each)|
In a large fry pan saute mushrooms and onions in butter.
Add flour; blend well.
Slowly add milk and cream, stirring constantly until thick.
Add cheese, Tabasco, salt and pepper.
Cook beans as directed on carton; drain well; place in oven proof dish.
Pour sauce over beans; add toasted almonds.
Bake at 350Â°F for 1 hour.
