Chili Con Came With Beans
|Boneless beef||1 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Boneless pork||1 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes|
|Beef broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Tomatoes||3 , peeled, seeded and cut into pieces|
|Canned white beans||16 Ounce, drained (One Can)|
|Canned red kidney beans||15 Ounce, drained (One Can)|
Brown meat in 3 tablespoons lard in a large skillet.
Add broth; cover and cook 30 minutes.
Add salt, chili powder, and garlic; mix.
Cook covered until meat is tender (about 1 hour).
Meanwhile, heat 2 tablespoons lard in a skillet.
Add onion and tomato; mix well.
Cover and cook until vegetables are soft.
Add puree and beans to meat; mix well.
