Pinto Beans

Cooking pinto beans in a solar cooker is an easy task. The beans finally cooked are perfect to taste and texture. They are fully cooked and are firm. There is no chance of beans getting mushy.
Ingredients
  Soaked beans 1 Pound
  Bay leaf 1
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Smoked pork chops 2 , cooked and chopped
  Garlic cloves 6 , chopped
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a pan and cover it. Place this pan in a solar heater for cooking. Add water ½ inch above bean mixture. The mixture takes nearly 4 ½ hours to be fully cooked. Some seasoning of choice can be added to the beans for better flavor.
