Lima Beans And Bell Peppers
|Water/Nonfat chicken broth / vegetable broth||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1 Pinch|
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Lima beans/Frozen lima beans||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Diced red bell pepper||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
1. Heat water or broth in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and red pepper. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
2. Add 3/4 cup water, black pepper, and lima beans. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until the lima beans are tender. Add more water if necessary during this process.
