Dill Bean Sticks
|Green beans||3 Pound|
|Chopped dill||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), peeled and halved|
|Vinegar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Wash beans; snip tips, but leave whole.
Cover and parboil beans in unsalted water for 5 to 10 minutes or until tender crisp.
Lift beans out with slotted spoon; place at once in large bowl of ice water.
Pack beans upright into hot sterilized jars; place 2 table spoons dill and 1/2 clove of garlic in each jar.
Heat vinegar, water, sugar, salt and cay enne to boiling; pour into jars to fill to rim.
