Navy beans | 1 Cup (16 tbs) , dry | |
Water/Chicken stock | 5 Cup (80 tbs) (4 | |
Onion | 1 , thinly sliced | |
Bacon strips | 3 Medium , chop | |
Hot and spicy bbq rub | 1 Tablespoon |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven at 250 degree.
MAKING
2. Place a ceramic pot on heat, add navy beans, 4 cups of water, bacon, and onion to it.
3. Turn the heat on high, and bring it to boil. Then cover it with lid, and simmer it for 1 hour stirring occasionally. You can add more water if required.
4. Sprinkle BBQ rub, stir and put the lid back on.
5. Place the pot in slow cooker at 250 degree, and cook for about 5-6 hours. Keep monitoring, and adding liquid to get desired consistency.
SERVING
6. Serve baked beans with pulled pork.
