String Bean Vinaigrette

Ingredients
  Green string beans 1⁄2 Pound, trimmed
  Yellow string beans 1⁄2 Pound, trimmed
  Sweet red pepper 1 Large, halved, seeded and thinly sliced into 1/4 inch wide strips
  Sliced green onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Snipped chives 2 Tablespoon
  Red wine vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped
  Chili powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sliced toasted almonds 3 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Take a saucepan and boil the water.
2) Add the green and yellow beans and cook for 5 minutes.
3) Drain the peas and keep in a bowl. Cover the bowl and allow it to chill.
4) Mix the green onion, chives, vinegar, oil, garlic and chili powder in a jar.
5) Shake all the ingredients well and pour over the vegetables.
6) Toss them well.

SERVING
7) Sprinkle almonds before serving the dish.
