Chili And Beans

Ingredients
  Tomato juice/Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned kidney beans 15 1⁄2 Ounce (1 can)
  Chili powder 1 Tablespoon
  Cumin seed 1⁄2 Teaspoon (optional)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Lean ground beef 2 Pound
  Onions 2 Large, chopped for 3 cups
  Tomato paste 12 Ounce
  Water 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1) In large container, cook beef and onions until meat browns.
2) Pour off fat.
3) Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.

MAKING
4) Combine 1 pt. Hamburger.
Sauce Mix, tomato juice, kidney beans, chili powder and cumin seed.
5) On toothpicks, place the garlic cloves and add to mixture.
6) Boil the mixture and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
7) Remove garlic.
8) Store the remaining sauce mix in pint jar in refrigerator.

SERVING
9) Serve the chili and beans as side dish.
