Sro Chili And Beans
|Ground sausage||1⁄4 Pound|
|Ground round||2 1⁄2 Pound (Ground Beef)|
|Red kidney beans/Pink kidney beans||2 Pound|
|Chili powder||To Taste (As Desired For Taste And Thickness)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Dash|
|Green pepper||1 Large, diced|
|Onion||1 Medium, diced|
|Tomato sauce||24 Ounce (3 Cans, 8 Ounce Each)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (As Required)|
Brown sausage in large kettle and saute' large onion in this as well.
Now add ground beef.
While meat is being browned, bring beans to a boil and cook for 5 or 10 minutes.
Now add the garlic, tomato sauce (water to cover) to the meat and simmer slowly until beans and meat are done then add chili powder as desired.
Salt to taste and continue to simmer until ready to eat.
Serve hot with additional onions on the side.
Serve with crackers or French bread.
