Soy Roasted Green Beans
|Sliced almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (For Garnish)|
|Green beans||1 Pound, trimmed|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Minced garlic||2 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Place rack in upper third of oven and heat oven to 500°F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
2. Spread almonds in an even layer on prepared pan and place in oven until toasted, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
3. Rinse green beans, but do not pat dry. Transfer beans to the same pan. In a small bowl, whisk together oil, garlic, soy sauce, and ginger. Drizzle mixture over beans, toss until coated, and arrange beans in an even layer.
4. Roast in oven until tender and beginning to brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle almonds on top and serve immediately.
