Mac's Kidney Beans
|Bacon slices||4 , chopped|
|Canned kidney beans||45 Ounce, drained (3 Cans, 15 Ounce Each)|
|Chili sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced green onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
In small skillet, cook bacon, saving 2 tbs.drippings.
In slow-cooking pot, add bacon and 2 tbs bacon drippings to drained kidney beans, chili sauce and green onions.
Sprinkle top with brown sugar.
Cover pot and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
Keep beans hot and serve from pot.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
