Ingredients
  Green string beans 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Butter/Bacon fat 2 Tablespoon
  Crisp bacon 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped (Optional)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Wash string beans and cut into 2-inch pieces.
Drain and place in 2-quart Saucepan.
Cover and cook over medium-high heat until valve begins to click (3 to 5 minutes)..
Reduce heat to low and cook until tender — 25 to 30 minutes.
Add seasonings.
Mix well.
