|Large dried lima beans||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Molasses||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Canadian bacon||1⁄4 Pound, cubed|
1.Wash the beans thoroughly.
2.Preheat theoven to 325 F.
3.Take a large pot, put beans in it and pour water sufficient enough to cover the beans.
4.Cook the beans until boil.
5.Cook for further 2 minutes and take off from heat.
6.Strain the water and put fresh water uptill 3 inches.
7.Let the water boil, lower the flame and cook for 1- 1/2 hours until soft.
8.Put water if required.
9.Take a 2 quart casserole, mix beans with sugar, molasses, horseradish and bacon; bake for 1 hour until beans turn soft.
10.Add salt and pepper.
