1) Follow package directions to cook lima beans.
2) Drain and keep aside.
3) In a medium saucepan heat butter and cook green onion till tender but not brown.
4) Stir in flour, salt, and pepper.
5) Mix milk and brown sugar.
6) Cook the mixture till thick and bubbly stirring occasionally.
7) Add sour cream and cooked lima beans to sauce mixture.
8) Heat thoroughly but don't let it boil.
