Bacon Retried Beans
|Bacon fat/Lard||4 Tablespoon|
|Cooked pinto beans||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Shredded monterey jack cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
In a skillet heat bacon fat.
Add the beans and a bit of the liquid.
Mash them until thoroughly crushed.
Add the garlic and season with salt.
Cook over low heat about 20 minutes.
Sprinkle cheese on top and continue heating until melted.
