Baked Bean Casserole

Ingredients
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Thinly sliced onions 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Canned beans 56 Ounce (New England Style, 2 Cans Of 28 Ounce Each)
  Canned deviled ham 4 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)
  Prepared mustard 2 Tablespoon
  Peeled tomatoes 4 , sliced
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

About 1 hour and 15 minutes before serving: Preheat oven to 400°F.
In large skillet in hot oil, saute onions until tender.
In large bowl, combine beans, ham, mustard; arrange half in 3-quart casserole.
Place half of onions and tomatoes over beans; sprinkle with half of salt and sugar.
Repeat layers.
Cover; bake 45 minutes; uncover; bake 10 minutes longer.
