Mom's Sweet N Sour Yellow Beans
|Beans||1 Pound (Fresh Or Frozen)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon (Well Packed)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
Slice yellow beans as desired.
Steam until tender (about 10 minutes).
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, mix together brown sugar and cornstarch.
Simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
When sauce is thickened and clear, pour over hot beans.
Add salt and pepper to taste; toss gently until all beans are coated with sauce.
