Soy Bean Coffee

Ingredients
  Soybeans 1 Pound
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Pick over and wash soybeans.
Place them on a cookie sheet and roast them in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, shaking the pan every 10 minutes.
The soybeans have roasted long enough when the bean inside the skin is a deep chocolate color.
Don't leave them until they are black.
Remove soybeans from the oven and from the hot pan immediately and allow them to cool completely.
Grind them, 1 cup at a time, in an electric blender.
Use 1 tablespoon of this "coffee" to every coffee cup of water, bringing the water to a boil in a small saucepan, then adding the soybean "coffee," covering the pan, removing it from the heat, and steeping the beverage for 5 minutes.
Strain "coffee" through a fine strainer.
